Moneywise may not be great to work for universities or

governments. However, you will have a good life because you can do what you love doing rather than what you are asked to do under pressures. In a long run, you will do better in terms of living quality and style. Here, I do not oppose what you are doing to take higher risk and get higher return. All depends on what you want for life.
