I am a modern geek, a geek for the millennium, digital but not bug-free, local defined but globally distributed, lazily initialized but early loaded, a binary singleton, a static operator, neither an Interpreter or a Visitor, in need of a Strategy to maintain my Façade.
I run multi-threaded processes on a single processor, I create single point failure for multiple servers. I’ve learned the lowdown of high level design, I know the highlights of low level languages. I store small piece of information in BigTable, I implement big applications in Smalltalk. I maximize the throughput with minimum resources. I got no downtime at peak load. I fast deploy to a slow network. My broadband is my bottleneck. I run the Sprint, set up the Srum, and go for the eXtreme.
I am agile and mobile, lightweight and swift. I have priority, my love is of high fidelity. I get honey from the Hive. I send Ruby to my wife. I code like a Cowboy. I ride with Apache. I enjoy Mango on the Couch. I play Fiddler at home. I grow up to be a ZooKeeper. I am going green with Solr. I fight with WuKong for the Ark. I dive with Geronimo to open the deadlock. I create building blocks for the platform. I grow Red-Black trees for the ecosystem. I dig a thread pool in my back office. I deep copy onto my Surface. The Sun is blocked by the Cloud. I open the Window to let in the Sun.
The Pig is my pet. A Python ate my pig. I searched for the Python but caught a Marmotta with my Net. I Bashed a Tomcat with my log. I watched the Ants running away while drinking a cup of Java. I added Lucene in the cup. I heated the cup with a shard of Lava.
I have private moments in public. My lips are sealed but my thoughts are dynamic. My shoes are overdesigned. My brain is underutilized. My expression is regular. My hats are variable-sized. My source is open. My envelope is closed. My sense is overloaded. My desire is encapsulated.
I abstract. I refactor. I derive. I replicate. I traverse. I GO. I inherit. I transform. I GET. I POST. I mirror. I reflect. I have Class. I have Structure. I have Protocol but am not Critical. I operate under the license, analyze the usage, collect the garbage and deliver the message. I’m hangin’ in, there ain’t no doubt, and I’m hangin’ tough, over and out.
