Normally, a manager/supervisor along with HR personnel will held a meeting with an employee to dicuss an "Improvement Plan" that allows an employee to improve in some areas within certain period of time. At the end of the defined period, the manager and HR personnel will held another meeting to evaluate the employee's performances and then will make a decision whether the employee should stay with the company or not. You have been working with the company for so many years. I don't think that your boss really wants to let you go, instead just shows her authority. You should behave humble to her and figure out a good solution if you would like to stay there. You may consider to invite her to have a lunch together to improve your relationship with her.
