The intention of two-week notice is

to allow adequate time for transferring unfinished work to other employee!!! Your action has implied that all transition work can be done in 8 days and you would like to take the last two days off. Her action is based on the intention of the "two-week" notice, so she can argue that since you can transfer all work to others within 8 days, therefore, the employement is ended when transition is done.

Of course, her action is not nice, nor is it fair, but it is in the light of the intention for two-week notice, OK
