You're a good man, I'm sure, but life is richer than that. Actually "big data" does stand for its own right, there are quite some merits there, not just a different form of data storage. If don't like the name, you can always call it something different, but it's still there.

The old dogs just cannot handle the new game -- Oracle is picking up (call it "SQL lives with NoSQL"), Microsoft is dying (thanks to the Indians:)).
