It pays $20-23/per hour.
Manages the monthly accounting close and preparation of monthly account reconciliations, as well as various reporting schedules. Ensures proper cut-off and accounting for assigned accounts. Partners with and ensures operational units receive appropriate accounting guidance. May have responsibility for the accounting and analysis of several areas of the business including fixed assets, revenue, costs of sales, financial reporting, and client partner commissions. Provides general accounting support to other departments and business units as needed.
Responsibilities:
''• Works under general supervision, as responsible for monthly accounting close and preparation of monthly account reconciliations
• Operates under established financial controls with limited risk where exceptions require management approval
• Requires moderate independent judgment in resolving and reconciling matters
• Partners with and ensures operational units receive appropriate accounting guidance
• May focus on a particular area such as fixed assets, revenue, cost of sales, financial reporting, and client partner commissions.
• Ensure proper accounting of GL transactions
• Reconcile and analyze on a monthly basis general ledger and sub-ledger accounts
• Play key role in month-end closing and preparation of periodic reporting schedules and disclosures for monthly, quarterly and year-end review and audit processes
• Assists in analytical reviews as required, including researching variances between actual expense activities and budgets/forecast
• Assists internal and external partners (e.g., Finance, retailers) in the resolution of accounting related issues
• Assists other departments and business units with various accounting needs and questions
• Assists with establishing, documenting, and implementing policies and procedures, and assists with training
• Assists with documenting policies and procedures
• Executes assigned controls (SOX)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required
SAP or Oracle expereince is preferred
