為什麽隻check一個reference，就停止了？ 請一定幫忙

真是怪事，我被要求提供三個人的信息做reference check， 但是招人公司上周五隻check 了一個 reference 就停止了。

請問： 這是為什麽？ 心裏發慌，是reference 出了問題嗎？

另外，公司會 check 沒有提供的信息嗎。例如，工作過不止三個公司，沒有提供reference的公司，會check 嗎？

真的是有點慌。
