英語更上一層樓

拚寫準確、語法無誤之後，周圍的人便升高對你的英文水準的期待值。

拋開這個事件的contextual background，單就被同事highlight的這一句展開談談，聽上去就是命令語氣，如果她是你的直屬下級，這麽說還算客氣，但她不是，所以你無意之中就讓她小小的不爽。

你老板寫的email，措辭婉轉多了，... at your convenience等等，這是setup meeting的標準客套。

委婉的句式，就是本壇老冒老二一夥說的酸文假醋，常用的客套話：

- We can do so and so 
改成： shall we blahblahblah？拿出征求對方意見的姿態。

另外一個常見的就是 you should do this, you should do that...
虛擬語氣吶？不能考試結束就扔了：I would do this, if I were you
如果非要用should不可，被動語態：It should be done this way...

總結，用you做一句話的主語的時候，就得客客氣氣，即使是吵架，柔中帶剛、棉裏藏針為上。
