Interview tip (2) from a HR Pro

When submitting to an interview for employment, another question the HR manager may ask you is:



What is your greatest strength?



This can be a rough question especially if you have an issue translating your experience into English.



Of course each one of these suggestions may not relate to the job you are applying for, so be sure you pick one that is applicable.



If you are applying for a position in advertising you might use the example of:  I am very creative and have lots of ideas. I have always lead my team in expressing new ideas to clients about TV & radio advertising.  



Here is a short list that might be helpful: Just remember to give a short explanation after each of your "strengths" 


  • Creative/lots of ideas

  • Starting projects

  • Managing others

  • Selling & negotiation skills

  • Works well under pressure

  • Team player - communicates well with others

  • Presenting
