I am a Corp2Corp contractor
Client A: 0.5 hr commute, easy-life and good manager. $X/hr, ~3% "inflation raise" annually but have to fight for it every year. Client B: offers $1.5X/hr. Unkown work/life style. 1.5 hr commute.
My bootomline: with 120% counter offer, I will stay at A, but it is less likely to happen due to some political reasons.
Question: Should I at least ask for counter offer with a specific number?
If I give A notice now, A will probably come up with some embarrasing counter offer.
Either way, I do not to burn the bridge. Please advise the best strategy. Thanks
