Talk to him like this:
In consideration of your request of adding your name as coauthor of my paper along with my concerns about my greencard application, I agree to add ur name as co-author. Can you please help to expediate/complete my greencard application smoothly?
When you say this, better to record it in case you need it.
Everything is negotiatable as long as not selling your body. :)
