depends on yoru current salary level and the position you are getting. fair market value is a good answer during interview. You can talk about your main concern for compensaiton during interview, liek work from home, flexibility, relocation etc. negotiation is the time to speak more directly about your salary expectation. Good employers usually will give you a fair salary.
