These people have not been exposure to large software engineering with long history. They just name the methodology with the agile, which ending as a biased terms.
They claim itself being "agile", which might have potential meaning that other metrologies are less "agile".
If IT team don't not adopt the "agile" method, people are labelled “not agile". ….. erh?
For some reason, Martin Fowler has reserved opinions on their topic. Politely, he suggested there will be lots of improving to be done in future.
