HR manager has seen me. I told her officially my last day with company is 4/30, but I will be in office until 4/26. After that, I would use personal days for 4/29-4/30.
In my current company, personal day is different from vacation day. HR already said they would pay all of my unused vacation day. But the personal day will be paid as well since I am still in company, but not in office.
I guess the reason to ask the last day in office is that they would ask me to hand off all company stuff, computer, phone, etc.
My main concern is not my current company, but my new company. Can I start working for new company without completely disconnecting from current company?
