I hope it helps as it is not easy for a foreigner to work in a white people dominated firm. And it is even harder to work in a firm with a VP title. Keep your good work and positive attitude and understand what's the most important to you.

I can imagine how mad you were when you read the payroll information. It's super common. And you know, :)  that's why people keep payroll confidential.
