Hi,I cannot write in chinese from my computer, so pls allow me to write in english.
Some backgroud: i have been working in the same department of a big company for 6 years. Currently, I have two options: 1)An immediate promotion, but to another department, 2)A rotation within the same department, but will be promoted very shortly.
The good thing is both jobs are pretty interesting, same level, similar job functions. 1) gives me an opportunity to learn one business in details. Also having experience in different departments may help future job hunting. However i need to work longer hours, and there is not a lot rotation opportunity in that department. 2) gives me opportuinty to learn different businesses from high level because i can rotate every 2-3 years (i have rotated twice already). i'm in a comfort zone, so the life is easier.However, promotion oppotunity in this deparment is not very promising for me. in long run, i may still need to find a promotion in other departments.
Any comments or suggestions? thx
