I forgot one thing, if it is within one organization of a big company, I think they may not be able to negotiate with you to entice you with increase in salary etc to reduce competition within the organization, so it is really just up to you, so I guess you don't need to play the game for the sake of negotiation, but you for sure should let HR know that your current group want to keep you, and you should let this pass on to the group that offered you, just so they know. they may not be able to offer you anything in addition..... so just make up your mind to move. it's uncertain in a new group, but sounds you are young, should always try different things.
