Most of that is working for private day care center, the best called so and so academy.  You don't need a masters degree for that.  The owner won't pay you for your education level.  You'd better have a masters degree for k-12 education. Special ed will be good, however, when NCLB just started with Bush, public schools need lots of special ed teachers, now many states get waiver on NCLB, I am not sure if they still need as many special ed teachers as several years ago. Maybe a math teacher is hot, or anything related to STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Math).  This is relate to Obama's Race to Top.  If the president changes, it'll be something else maybe.
