1. 最基本的，給你三個financial statements裏的兩個，你要能把第三個寫出來（一般是給balance sheet and income statement, 你要能知道cash flow statement)。

2. 進一步，從無到有用excel把公司的經營狀況完整地表現出來（不外乎是financial reporting，management reporting的內容），什麽事key input, key output, 改變了一些變量對公司的performance or forecast會有什麽影響。這是最主要的。下麵的是derivatives.

3。corporate merger or acquisitions. 知道兩個公司的情況，能用excel spreadsheet列出兩個公司合並以後的financial statements and operating metrics，包括synergies.

4. corporate finance. 融資以後對公司financials和主要metrics的影響.

主要就是excel modeling.
