nobody is perfect in his/her "communication" - in that way USA companies bad boss used to use it as an execuse before they fire employee.  it All dedpends on common sense judgement, that you should leave, or talk with HR, check upper-level manager about company rule&regulation; worst case check state lawy (local library, online, EEC committee), or prepare for a lawyer!!!
