Just got a so-so offer, but from a big company. After going through its reference check process, now i have some information to share with you. The company hired a background check company to conduct my reference check. Three are four key check services they provided:
1.Reference check: to send a list of questions and talk to the references you provided. the questions list is very annoying, all my references complained about it.It contains queation about will hire this person if you are the manager.
2.Employment Verification check: to call the company you previsouly worked at to check general information of your working history such as start date and end date.
3.Eduction Check: to check with your university.
3. Crimian check : to check with policy about your cirminal record.
Totally two weeks process.
