concern is whether or not you'd be eligible for maternaty leave, you most likely won't get paid or take more than 6 weeks off.
if you don't NEED the income right away, maybe wait till after you give birth, think about it, even if you take 3 months off, you would still have less than 12 months gap, plus you should be fully covered by the unployement.
