1. you should understand that the #1 priority for yourself is always your family, and you are only indispensable to your family

2. sounds like you did your best for your company, therefore there's nothing you should feel about about

3. your boss did the right thing by taking care of you when you needed it the most, but that's what a good manager should do, it's his job to take care of employee and make sure they are happy.

4. anyone reasonable would fully understand your reason to leave the company, if someone doesn't, oh well, sucks to be them!
