LG 的煩惱

老公有個offer,和新公司說好四月中上班。忽然想起去年定了一個今年5月中2個星期的家庭旅行。大家覺得下麵的信（to his future supervisor)會是壓斷駱駝的最後一根稻草嗎？ 老公覺得我的要求（borrow PTO or postpone start date) 很過分。IT公司會這麽無情嗎？ 謝謝！

I just realized my family planned a vacation in May (05/11/2012-05/25/2012) by the end of last year. Hotels and flights have been all booked up. But I won’t save enough vacation time (PTO) by then if I join xxxx (company name) in April as planned. What is the benefit policy on PTO in xxxx? Does the company allow it being borrowed ahead of time? Or you would prefer I start my work right after the vacation.Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.
