2000年, Oracle 9i 出來，噪聲說會消滅掉sys admin and DBA job.

2000年, Oracle 9i 出來, with Auto Memory management and self tuning capability.

人說：With cheap memory, with Powerful CPU, Plus Oracle 9i auto memory configuration, performance tunining is not a issue any more, so everythng can be ran with auto pilot, not need DBA any more.

Now, end of 2011, Oracle has went through version 10, version 11, far from 9i.  IS DBA jobs went a way?

The fact is: I receive email every day demanding DBA skills.

Data is assest, data is power, data is everyting.
