Having a gap is not something that you can change - just be positive about the gap (like, what you have gained during the break) and tell them what you can bring to the company....and try to see if you can make your status more clear on your resume. 

一年半的工作經驗（其實比較有價值的隻有半年) --> make some points to demonstrate that your experience is not only 1.5 years but beyond - be confident and good luck.
