Possible - I has=d a similar feeling about one interview...

The whole interview team asked very specific and detail questions about some procedures and methods that my company was doing....and told me that I did well but the position takes time to get approval and showed me the office for the position....The director told me that he had interviewed 100+ candidates for the position in the end....

Anyway, I feel that they just wanted to learn about what my company was doing since I can tell that they didn't know the answers for some questions. I guess that I was used for some "market/competitor research" but I just treated the interview as a practice of my interview skills, especially since I was not very interested in the company - that was how I see what I got out of it.
