急死人！吃了reckless driving ticket(New Jersey), 正值換工作，背景調查咋辦？

在網上搜了很久，據說New Jersey reckless driving ticket不是misdemeaner (criminal offsense), 而是traffic violation，並且有望請律師減輕。

這個背景調查表上說：

 

1. Have you within the past 10 years been convicted of any felony or misdemeanor? Misdemeanors may include, but are not limited to, violations of city ordinances and traffic violations (with the exception of speeding offenses less than 20MPH over the posted limit and non-repetitive parking violations)。

 

2. Are you presently the subject of any proceedings in which an adverse decision would result in the above question being answered "Yes"?

 

我的ticket是reckless driving(NJ, speeding over 20 MPH limit)。

我的理解是上麵的問題是focus on felony和misdemeaner，因此即使我的ticket是over 20 MPH limit, 隻要在NJ不屬於misdemeaner, 我就不需要報告給雇主。
