I think my boss' boss (Y) is very happy with the quality of my work. But he think I am not aggressive in handling people's relations. Just like our nature and being raised, that I don't like conflict, especially my direct manager (T) won't back me up. She'd run away before me. So I feel stuck in the middle being pulled to two directions.
I totally agree with your "check list". I think I pass the "doing good stuff", "being honest" and 2.5 years of loyalty. I have a lot of respects to them, their people, and their diligences. But there's no chance for me to marry someone who speaks the same language, literally.
