Double check database ID before you issue shutdown command

-- Never ever make this kind of assuming again!

-- Type: select name from v$database;  before you type any  shutdown command from today. REMEMBER IT! This is what I have been doing for years.

-- Let manager know: Sorry I made a mistake which I was not on purpose. I will folow LaoTu's suggetion and it will never happen again.
