-First, when you go to the meeting, you should remain professional from the beginning ot the end. Talk about facts, avoid being emotional, and avoid any personal attack, even when you are under personal attack, remain cool and professional. Treat it this way, whatever you say, or they say, one day it may be evidence somewhere.
-not sure if you can manage to record the meeting without them knowing it. if you can save some evidence, it may be good evidence later if you choose to pursue the matter further.
-save whatver paper they give to you, and remember what they tell you, and what you tell them. (if you are not recording, then make your best effort to remember what has been said, and make some notes). rememember who are at the meeting and what they say.
i am sure there are other things you have to be careful. but that is all i can think of.
