大約兩月前,我去了一家公司麵試。效果很好:人事部門給我看了,詳細解釋了compensation package(except for salary);頂頭上司及老板很滿意。 “We will make this work out" 是老板的老板的原話。也見了今後的同事。還沒到家就接到招人公司人事部門電話說他們move to the next step,要我做一個assessment test 寄回給他們,會打電話給獵頭。接著獵頭打電話給我要references and info for background check.兩天後告訴我"everything is in place".
原以為很快這事很快會定下,不想等了一星期沒消息。打電話問獵頭,說當天就跟人事部聯係。又等了兩星期(不想顯得太急)問獵頭,回說“haven't heard anything infinitive.everybody seems on vacation." 就此沒了消息。我已覺得something must've gone wrong,但也沒再催問。What good will that do? 上個星期想了這事還是應該有個closure.於是問獵頭。回說“I just spoke to xxx yesterday and they filled in the position on their own. I was also shocked...You know this is how it turns out when it comes to fees vs. no fees..."
這事就此依算過去,但我想知道究竟哪兒出錯了。我不知道獵頭是否說實話:如果這家公司不想花錢,為啥要浪費大家得時間呢?這家公司不像出不起那錢的。可能我應該早點兒直接跟公司人事部門聯係,但那樣好像不太合適。我現在去問人事部門合適嗎? (主要想發現是否獵頭做了什麽)。今後還要不要跟這個獵頭合作呢?大家有過類似經曆嗎?
