The 3rd company I worked in U.S did check my background in China. Even though I already have worked for 2 consulting firms in U.S, but the 3rd company is national and HR really makde long distance call my classmates who was VP of a big public company in China.

Later on my classmates call me and laughed at me, said he didn't understand English already:) HR wants to know I really have MS degree.
