Thank you for your advice. I agree that "not much for me to do" is better than "not having enough to do"....
My concern is about my manager's feeling. Director wants to talk to my manager about transferring me to help the next team but I am concerned if I should talked to my manager about my conversation with the director before my manager heard from my director directly. I kind of think it is better not to give my manager a surprise. what do you think?
