Perma to temp

she had perma job now,small company 20,000 base + commission a year

a bigger company offered her a contract (maybe 3 months)to perma position (based on her performance during this 3 months)

Is it worth for her to take the risk? What is the % that big company can put her into the perma position after 3 months?
