I got a verbal offer from potential employer and I am asked to go to internet to fill up the background check pages from the web of a professiaonl third party background company.
I've heard some people saying they have no way to verify my salary, while also others saying they do have a way to check my salary data. my prevous and current employer are very big companies, so I am pretty sure they would not disclose my salary to anyone else. but is there any other way the background checking company can find out my salary?
Did any people here know for sure background checking company did get your current or previous salary number?
