Thanks a lot for your feedback. Today things are much better now. Following Man in Grey's advice, I sent Jerry an email last night. Basically telling him I appreciated the chance to work on the project and learned about about the company. Also said i think he has done a great job supporting the project.
He emailed back in the morning - he is one of those old people who gets to work early and leeves late. Anyway, in his email he did say that he appreciated my attitude to help and helped whereever needed. When i met him in person today, he smiled nicely. He is actually a kind man. My boss didn't show anything unusual so I guess he didn't hear anything bad about me.
Here is what i learned: sometimes doing a little extra or appearing to be taken advantage of is not too big a deal as long as it becomes a unspoken rule. Depending on what kind of people you work with, doing a little extra may pay back. I think i will be more careful in the future.
