Windows C++ Engineer will be a key player designing, implementing, and enhancing our toolbars, add-ons, and their installers for major web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Firefox.
• Windows C++ Engineer will be involved in all phases of the software development cycle - from working closely on understanding requirements with product management to testing and releasing your products.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in object oriented C++ design
• Two or more years of experience building Windows applications with Visual Studio C++ utilizing best coding practices, and automated testing
• Experience with Windows API’s, libraries, and frameworks (MFC, ATL, WTL, .NET)
• Strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work with remote teams in rapid development cycles
• Experience with Agile/Scrum
• Flexibility to change approaches and projects when needed
• Demonstrated commitment to quality work, and ability to learn new technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent job experience
Additional Desired Qualifications:
• Prior work experience developing extensions for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari
• Understanding of Web 2.0 technologies, including: HTML, CSS, cookies, JavaScript, JSON, REST, and TLS
• Knowledge of the online marketing, advertising, and consumer social space
