Ignore the unpleasant short work experience & back ground check

I have one month unpleasant short work experience with the latest employer. I have been working for my  old boss all the time as contractor when needed. I did not list this  short time period on my resume.


My question is what will happen for background check when  applying for a new job if I totally ignore this short time ?
