background check, ask for opinion, I did a have lie,,,,

company is doing background check now, I worked in one of the Canadian company 7 years ago. I was there less than half year, but I said I worked for more than 1 year in my resume.

After this company I have been working for other two compaines so far, I was pretty good in these latest two compaies and I did not lie.

do you think the back ground check will found out my lie (weel, I know I should no lie, but I do not what I am supposee to do now)??
