I understand your scenario and emotions disturbed. You do deserve sympathy from others. Indeed, Stealing credits is quite common in the working places, and it is nasty.

The way of getting your credits are: 1) document everything well (memos...), 2) let your boss know your work, 3) express your thoughts in public.

However, the way you handled this incident was a bit of out of control. It is common that people will have negative thoughts on the ones who lose temper in public..

you need work hard to neutralize the ill effects instead of quitting because 1) the sun does n't shine on every dog's ass everyday and there are always evil crows on different companies.

All you need is "Don't give up, fight professionally"
