Again, it is just legalese - lawyer-speak.  No need to fret about it if your personal/family finance is in good order.

Some companies are more cautious than others in handling employee relations.  While we don't hear much about language like this in job offers, in our increasinly lawsuit-happy world, it is not entirely surprising to see that the more conservative firms are taking extreme measures to ensure that they don't end up stuck with undesirable employees.
