Those are really good question.
1) level: I am the lowest level and the indian boss is about 2-3 levels above me. But I am here longer (>2 years) than her ( 2) No she is not the big boss's buddy. My previous boss, who was very fond of me, is.
3) She got big complain from the other group recently

But I am still under the Indian boss and don't know what is going to happen next.
