yes, you can and you should. Simply put this way, you are there and fit the position well, if the agency loses you, they need to find another person to fit the position and it will not be certain for this agency to get it. In that sense, they will lose the cut .So that, you politely ask for the reasonable rate but before doing it, you are sure that you did a good job in your position and your manager will back you up.
