Some company say: Miss Rose, today 11:00am is your last time work in the company, you have to leave at that time today.
Some company say: Miss Rose, you position is cut in the end of this month, your employement will be ended at that time. OK, enjoy your last several days, copy the stuff you need copy, go visit doctor when the insurance still cover.
Case by case, all different.
