Finally, my kind of woman!

Indeed, up to this point, we have heard nothing but one side of the story. And, regrettably, barring unforeseen developments, chances are that we are not ever going to hear the other side of the story here on this forum.

While it is understandable that the original poster wants to present his friend's case in the most favorable/sympathetic light possible, the fact that he seems to have presented only selected aspects of the whole story does his friend a disservice if his only purpose of posting here is to solicit truly helpful advice.

As the saying goes, the divine helps those who help themselves. Unless and until we get a full and complete version of the story, our help, however well-intentioned we are (and we are anything but divine), will be very limited.

(Now, many would not hesitate to call me a bad man if they have not done so already. And I guess I deserve it for posting the above.)
