Talk to Group B manager and tell her that

you asked group A to inform you if there is an openning. Now Group A has an opening and you have pretty much decided not to go because you like Group B. Ask her if she thinks this is the right decision. If she sounds very positive with your decision then tell Group A that you will stay with Group B. If she thinks Group A might be a better fit for you, then you have more to think about.
