seems this job is better than last one - not too much computer time, and you can do experimental work then publish papers as 1st author.

It takes time to know each other between your boss and you. it takes time to cooperate well. You did not mention what he actually did wrong. I can understand a new professor wants some results immediately. You are 老油條,:), I think you can deal with it nicely.

I assume the pay for this job is better than last one. 20% higher? So I think it's better to stay. See what happens in 3 month and half a year.
