help accessPI question

I have a phone interview with HR people today and he ask me to complete an access PI Predictive Index® (PI) Survey before to send my resume to hire manager. This is a senior engineer position.
is there anyone know what is the purpose of this survey? The survey is sample, page 1---pick up "Please read the words in the list below and check those that you feel describe the way you are expected to act by others." Page --2, pick up the words (same words in page 1)you think yourself.
