is it possible that you can get a TA/RA at some departments (like Physics, chemistry as they need lots of TAs), making some money, in the same time, get a degree on Accountant or MIS or Statistics.

I am not sure about the future of those majors, but 2 of my college classmates (ladies) changed their major (engineering) to accountant and statistics. they are working now, one in a big bank, another one in government agency (Canada)
